2. Clean the fish carcass from the scales. Silver carp has a lot of it, and it is quite small, but you still need to remove every last scale, because the pleasure of eating will not be complete. Then rip open the belly and take out all the insides. You should be careful with the gallbladder here, because if it bursts, then the bile will leak out and spoil the taste of the fish. Cut off the fins and head. The silver carp's head is, of course, large and takes most of the fish, but it can be used to cook excellent fish soup. Then rinse the fish thoroughly under running water and dry it dry with a paper towel. Since if it remains wet, there will be a lot of splashes during frying when the oil and water are combined. Cut the prepared carcass into portioned steaks about 2-2.5 cm thick and brush each side with a salt mixture.

3. Place a large skillet with thick sides and bottom on the stove top. Pour in vegetable oil and heat well. Since the fish was eaten on an incompletely heated surface, it will stick to the bottom of the pan. When the oil begins to smoke, it means that it is already well heated, and you can send the fish to fry. Arrange the silver carp, turn it over medium heat and grill it uncovered for about 7-10 minutes. Then turn the fish over to the other side and fry for the same amount of time until golden brown.

4. Put the finished silver carp on a plate and serve. For a side dish, you can serve boiled potatoes or rice with fresh vegetable salad.
