The weight loss system is based on restricting the calorie intake of food and the consumption of fats and carbohydrates. Sugar, baked goods, animal fats are high in calories, are quickly absorbed and stored in the body in the form of adipose tissue, so they are prohibited.

Proteins and proper carbohydrates (cereals, vegetables, fruits) are less caloric, but they contain vitamins, minerals and other useful compounds. Protein foods saturate well, so hunger is not felt.

The fiber found in fruits and vegetables stimulates bowel movements and promotes the movement of feces. Along with proteins, it is welcomed by nutritionists. Some vegetable oil is allowed. The body's need for fats is replenished from its own reserves.

For the results of the English diet to be effective, strictly follow the dietary rules:

  • Allowed cooking methods are cooking, stewing, baking without adding salt and fat.
  • The recipes for cooking meat and fish dishes are as simple as possible.
  • Divide the daily food intake into 4 doses.
  • Remove sugar, sweets, pastries, alcohol from the menu.
  • Eliminate salt, spices, and spices.
  • Drink at least 2 liters of water throughout the day.
  • Replace milk with a low-fat version of the product or 1% kefir.
  • Drink a glass of still mineral water an hour before breakfast.
  • Drink tea, coffee without sugar and additives half an hour after eating.
  • The time of the last meal is until 7 pm.
  • To improve digestion, it is recommended to drink a spoonful of vegetable oil before bedtime.
  • If the course of weight loss falls in autumn or spring, it is recommended to take vitamin complexes to maintain immunity.
  • The exit from the diet is smooth, with a gradual increase in the calorie content of the diet.
  • After a course of weight loss, it is recommended to adhere to the principles of proper nutrition, otherwise the lost kilograms will return.

The full dietary course lasts 3 weeks. But there are diet options for 1 or 2 weeks. Since the diet is strict and low-calorie, not everyone who wants to lose weight can withstand it to the end.

Important! Postpone the diet if you have recently undergone surgery, there are chronic diseases or gastrointestinal pathologies in the exacerbation stage.
