Pears are a fruit that is difficult to store for a long time in a cellar, and even more so even in an apartment. For this reason, it is advisable to consume them fresh. Naturally, fruits can be preserved by making a harvest for the winter. But here it should be remembered that when exposed to high temperatures, which a pear is exposed to, many useful properties are lost in it. It's another matter to dry it, and the fruit can be stored for longer, and the nutrients will not evaporate. Since pears are not subjected to strong heat treatment during drying.

The drying technology for pears is the same as for apples and other fruits and berries. At home, you can dry any kind of pear. The main requirement is a thin skin, ripeness, density. Spoiled and overripe fruits are not suitable for this harvest. Such a blank is stored in an apartment for more than a year. In addition, dried pear is considered a dietary product. It is allowed to use it even for people who are obese and diabetic, as well as with diseases of the liver, gallbladder and kidneys. 3. Take a wire rack or baking sheet from the oven and place the pear pieces on top of it so that they do not touch each other. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees and send the baking sheet with fruit to dry for 1-2 hours. When doing this, leave the frypot door slightly ajar to allow steam to escape. Flip the pears several times during this process so that they cook evenly on all sides. When all the moisture from the fruit is gone, the slices are halved in size and the fruit becomes brittle, remove the baking sheet from the oven. Refrigerate pears to room temperature and store in a glass jar or paper bag. Do not keep them in a damp room.
