Spanka is an excellent raw material for making all kinds of wines: dry, semi-dry, sweet and liqueur. Since ancient times, these drinks have been an excellent addition to any festive feast. Today we'll talk about how to make a delicious liqueur from this berry. It is easy to prepare and does not require expensive ingredients. It can be easily done independently at home without much effort. You only need berries, sugar, water and vodka. From these products, you will get a very aromatic and tasty liqueur with a delicate sweet and sour taste that will definitely not disappoint you. In addition, the smell of alcohol is practically not felt in it. But before you start preparing a delicious drink, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with some tips that will help you get a drink that tastes great.

  • For cooking, choose the best and ripe berries. Go through them by sorting out rotten, sluggish, unripe, spoiled, and moldy. Because even a few spoiled berries will spoil the taste of the drink.
  • Fresh and frozen fruits are suitable for liqueur. However, after defrosting, the thawed liquid must also be used by pouring it into the container in which the drink will be prepared.
  • Choose vodka of the best quality without any additives.
  • Wash storage containers with boiling water and wipe with a dry clean cloth.
  • So that the liqueur does not fizzle out over time and retains the aroma as much as possible after straining from the berries, pour it into small containers and seal it tightly.
  • Store liquor in a dark place at a temperature not exceeding 8 degrees.
  • Uncork the drink just before serving. Keep it open in the refrigerator for about 10 days.
  • Chill the drink well before drinking.

Following these simple tips, the liqueur will delight you with excellent taste all year round. And if you wish, according to this recipe, you can cook it not only with spanky, but also with dark sour cherries. The drink on this berry will turn out to be more intense, but not cloying, so everyone, without exception, will like it. Also, according to this principle, liqueurs from raspberries, currants and cranberries are deliciously obtained.
