Products for manna are available from each housewife, with the exception of additional fruits. The cost of manna is very cheap, the price can only vary depending on the seasonal fruit. Today we will pamper the household with manna with peaches. It's quite simple, and the dessert is perfect for breakfast or just for tea as a snack.

You can take peaches for the recipe fresh, canned or frozen. The former should be washed, dried and pitted, the latter should be thawed, and the syrup should be drained from the canned ones. Dried peaches are also suitable for baking. As a dairy component, kefir is used, which can be replaced with other fermented milk products: yogurt, sour milk, fermented baked milk or natural yogurt. Mannik will still turn out to be gentle and airy. Ingredients:

  • Kefir - 250 ml
  • Flour - 150 g
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Semolina - 150 g
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Peaches - 5-10 pcs. depending on the size
  • Vegetable oil - 75 ml
  • Eggs - 1 pc.
  • Sugar - 100 g or to taste

1. Pour semolina, flour, sugar into a bowl for kneading dough and mix dry ingredients.

2. Pour kefir, vegetable oil and eggs into the container.

3. Stir the dough until smooth and leave for 20 minutes for the semolina to swell slightly. Otherwise, in the finished product, it will squeak unpleasantly on the teeth. Then add baking soda to the dough by spraying it over the entire dough and stir. If you add soda with all the products at once, then after a while it will lose its properties and the manna will not rise.

4. Pour half of the dough into a baking dish (round, square, rectangular). If you are using an iron container, then lubricate it with oil first. Silicone molds do not need to be lubricated.

5. Wash the peaches well, rinse off all dust, and dry with a paper towel. Divide the fruit in half and remove the pits. Put the halves of the fruit on the dough, as if sinking them.

6. Pour the peaches on top with the remaining dough and send the cake to a preheated oven to 180 degrees for half an hour. Check the readiness of the manna with peaches with a puncture of a wooden stick: there should be no sticking on it. Otherwise, continue cooking and try again.
