I am introducing you to the recipe for grated apricot pie. This is a great treat that will be appreciated by all family members. The juicy apricot filling and the crispy crust of the sweet grated shortbread tart top make the baked goods a delightful treat. The cooking recipe is quite simple and does not take much time. This cake got its name from its particularly simple assembly technology. The shortbread dough is rubbed on the most ordinary kitchen grater, thanks to which the baked goods are very beautiful, and the crust is not hard, but textured.

Apricots for the recipe are fresh, canned, or frozen. And if you don't have apricots, replace them with any other fruits: cherries, black or red currants, blueberries, plums … Any jam and jam will do, the main thing is that they are not very liquid, otherwise the pie filling will leak out. And if there is nothing at home for the filling, buy any frozen berries or sweets in the supermarket and delight your household with a culinary masterpiece.

7. Defrost apricots naturally without using a microwave oven. Drain off the juice that remains after defrosting. You can use it for compote or jelly. Place the apricots on top of the dough. If they are very watery, sprinkle them with flour, it will absorb some of the fruit juice during baking.
