A special heat-resistant glass dish is used for baking. But if you don't have one, a baking sleeve will do. In it, the food will turn out to be no less tender and soft. In addition, there will also be a clean oven. This recipe is also suitable for a "busy" mom, because for its preparation, active work takes no more than 15-20 minutes.

Before you start preparing the ribs, you should make sure that you are using lamb meat. This can be determined by light pink meat, white fat, thin bones and a wide distance between the ribs. It is also practically odorless. The meat of the old animal is red in color and smells slightly unpleasant. It is advisable not to use such meat. But for the preparation of ribs according to the proposed recipe, you can use any type of meat: beef, pork, turkey. The dish will undoubtedly turn out delicious, and the meat is soft and melts in your mouth. In addition, pumpkin will make the meat even more tender and juicy.

  • Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
  • Spices and herbs (any) - to taste
  • Pumpkin - 300 g
  • Potatoes - 3-4 pcs.

1. Wash the lamb ribs under running water and dry well with a paper towel. If you don't want a very greasy dish, cut off the excess fat. Then cut them by the bones and place in a large baking dish in one even layer. Season the meat with salt, black pepper and any spices.

Season the vegetables with salt and black pepper. Add any spices and herbs as desired. Wrap the form with cling foil and place in a heated oven to 180 degrees. Cook roasted lamb ribs with potatoes and pumpkin for 1 hour. Then remove the foil and bake the meat for another 10-15 minutes to form a golden brown crust.
