Chicken paprikash is a simple and tasty roast of poultry meat, for which thighs or fillets are most often taken. According to the recipe, chicken meat is cooked in a thick sour cream gravy with paprika, pepper and onions. It is ground paprika that gives it a rich color and gives it an appetizing look. Ingredients:

  • Chicken thighs - 4 pcs.
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Sweet red pepper - 1 pc.
  • Tomato - 1 pc.
  • Sour cream - 150 g
  • Ground paprika - 1 tsp
  • Wheat flour - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying - 50 g
  • Parsley - a few twigs

Peel the onions, chop finely and begin to fry in vegetable oil in a preheated pan. When the onion pieces become transparent, add the ground paprika.

Remove the skin from the washed chicken thighs, if they are too large, cut into medium-sized pieces. For 10 minutes, we will simmer in a skillet with aromatic sauteed onions.

Let's prepare the tomato and pepper. Remove the seeds in the sweet pepper, cut the tomato a little, put it in a bowl of boiling water for 10 seconds, and then easily remove the skin. Cut the vegetables into small cubes and add to the chicken stew. Cook the meat for 15–20 minutes.
