Read on for a detailed step-by-step homemade soap making workshop. Soap making is not only an exciting process, but also always a rewarding activity. Ready-made homemade soap will be both an excellent gift for friends and family, and a necessary hygiene product for the home.

There are several ways to make soap: from a base (which you can buy in specialized stores), from baby soap, and from scratch yourself. The most difficult process, of course, is when making soap from scratch; this will require more components than when making soap from a base or baby soap. Consider the most acceptable way - making homemade soap from baby soap.

To do this, we need: dyes (food can be used), aromatic oils, base oil (such as almond, apricot seed, grape seed, etc.), molds, some milk and, of course, baby soap.

Homemade soap making process:

  1. The first step is to rub a bar of soap into a metal plate, pour milk (about 2/3) and let it settle a little.
  2. Then you need to put our bowl in a water bath, in order to speed up the process you need to cover it with a lid and stir regularly. When the soap has melted and turned into a liquid gruel, we put it on the lowest temperature so that it cools down a little.
  3. Then you can start "working" with it, for this add 2-3 tablespoons of base oil and a couple of drops of dye to the soap. You can make a scrub soap, for which you need to add honey and oatmeal there.
  4. Next we need glasses. When we mix the resulting mass thoroughly, you can start pouring the soap into the prepared cups. This is done in order to get different colors.
  5. Add dyes of the desired color to each of the glasses. Then we fill in the molds, according to the color scheme - as you need it. When the molds are completely filled, it is necessary to put all this in the refrigerator overnight, or for a day, and then remove it from the molds and leave it in cling film for a week on the windowsill or balcony, so that our soap will finally harden.

After that, the soap is finally ready to use! Such a simple process will allow us to make homemade soap of any color and shape.
