The product is prepared very quickly and easily, especially if you cook the custard in advance, which can be prepared even in a day. Then you can even bake a wonderful roll for breakfast. This is the version of the recipe when, with a minimum of effort and time, you can make something not grandiose, but effective and tasty. No fuss, the most difficult thing is to cook custard, and it's not so difficult. Therefore, any novice hostess can make such a roll.

A huge plus of puff yeast dough is that it is stored in the freezer for a long time, about 3 months, but in an airtight package. After defrosting, be sure to use it and not re-freeze it.

  • Sugar - 80 g
  • Flour - 1 tablespoon

1. Boil the custard first. Since we will cook it in the container where we are cooking, take a saucepan with a thick bottom so that it does not burn during cooking. Place raw eggs in the container of your choice.

2. Add sugar to the eggs.

3. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy and lemon-colored. Add flour to the saucepan and beat the food again until smooth.

4. Pour milk at a temperature of about 30-40 degrees into a saucepan.

5. Place the pot on the stove and turn on medium heat. Boil the cream, stirring continuously, so that there are no lumps. As soon as the first bubbles form on the surface and the mass begins to thicken, remove the pan from the heat. But continue stirring it for about 5-7 minutes, because there is still a risk that lumps will appear.

6. Put butter in the finished cream and mix well so that it is distributed throughout the mass.

7. Defrost puff-yeast dough at room temperature without using a microwave. This process will take about 30-45 minutes. Sprinkle the tabletop with flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a thin rectangular layer about 3-5 mm.

8. Apply custard on the dough, stepping back from its edges by 1, 5-2 cm. Apply the thickness of the cream no more than 1 cm, but not less than 0.5 cm. Then the filling will be felt well, and there will be no leave the product.

9. Tuck the edges of the dough, covering the filling, and roll it up.

10. Place the product in a baking dish, seam side down. Lubricate the custard roll with milk or egg yolk so that the finished product has a golden brown crust. Bake the roll for 30-40 minutes in a preheated oven to 180 degrees. Serve it to the table after cooling. Decorate the finished baked goods with powdered sugar or cocoa powder.
