Step 2

We take a large (preferably copper) pan, where we will cook our jam and pour sugar there and pour water (sugar can be put a little less than one kilogram, for example, 800 grams or even less, so many people like the taste of jam more). Then we mix everything painstakingly.

Step 3

Throw zucchini cut into pieces into our cool syrup and cook everything over low heat.

Step 4

While our zucchini is boiling, in the meantime, we are preparing lemons and oranges (if you wish, you can limit yourself to one thing: lemons or only oranges). In this recipe, I cut the lemons together with the zest into small pieces, and drove the oranges through a meat grinder (also with zest).

Step 5

We make a little light, and as soon as the zucchini comes to a boil, we throw our citrus fruits there. Having made a small flame, we leave it all to boil for about 45 or 50 minutes. At the end of cooking, you can add 0.5 teaspoon pectin or citric acid there. But such experiments are best done after preparing a simple recipe and only then experiment.

Step 6

Pour the prepared jam into cans (it is more convenient to take cans of 0.5 liters). From this recipe, approximately 1 liter and 200 ml of ready-made zucchini jam are obtained.

Step 7

We close all the cans and turn them upside down and leave to cool. As soon as everything has cooled down, you can transfer all the jam to the pantry or basement.
