About pancake fillings

Pancake fillings are a creative process, as you can wrap anything you want in a pancake. Pancake fillings can be divided into two categories: sweet and savory. Sweet fillings include caramels, chocolate, cottage cheese, fruits, berries, etc. Unsweetened fillings are mushrooms, cheese, meat and fish products, eggs, salted cottage cheese, vegetables, etc. You can prepare fillings not only from one product, for example, minced meat, jam, chocolate, etc., but also from several components.

Basic rules for making pancake dough

The main rule of kneading pancake dough depends on the filling with which the pancakes will be served. The amount of sugar added to the dough depends on this. That is, if you plan to cook pancakes with a sweet filling, then put more sugar in the dough, you can also add vanillin. For pancakes with unsweetened filling, it is advisable not to put a lot of sugar in the dough.

Cheese and garlic filling

Garlic cheese has always been considered the most ideal, successful and cheapest combination. The speed and ease of its preparation already deserve special attention. In addition to the fact that such a snack can be prepared on weekdays, everyone will be glad to see it at a festive feast. The only thing is that it should not be served for breakfast, especially if you are going to go to work.

The people call the cheese-garlic filling "Jewish salad". It can be prepared as a stand-alone dish, or used as a filling for sandwiches or as an addition to other dishes. Moreover, the basis of sandwiches can be not only bread, but also slices of tomatoes, unsweetened crackers, toasters or potato chips. You can also make balls from a plastic and pliable cheese-garlic mass, which you can put on a dish with lettuce leaves.

5. Place the pan on the stove, brush it with a piece of bacon and heat well. Lard must be greased so that the first pancake does not stick to the pan. In the future, this can be omitted. After completing this process, pour a portion of the dough into the pan and twist it so that the dough spreads over the entire surface. Fry the pancake on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes each.

7. Add finely chopped green onions and squeeze the garlic through a press. Green onions can be replaced with any greens. Also add mayonnaise, but not much, to avoid the liquid filling that will fall out of the pancakes. If there is not enough mayonnaise, then it is better to add it.
