Coming to the grocery store, many housewives ignore the pork legs, believing that nothing original and tasty, with the exception of jellied meat, can be cooked from them. But this opinion is absolutely in vain! Pork legs take longer to cook than pork ribs or shank. However, the variety of dishes with them and the taste of the product make it possible to make the food desirable for our everyday menu. Today I propose to learn how to cook baked pork legs in the oven. A similar dish is found in German cuisine, where the hooves are first boiled, marinated, and then baked. This dish is served with cold foamy beer with sauerkraut or vegetables. But in this recipe, we will cook them bypassing cooking, and immediately bake them in the oven. And we will bake in soy sauce, herbs and prunes. Dried plums will give the meat a sweet and sour aftertaste, and soy sauce - a spicy interesting taste and rich aroma. The appetizer will turn out to be not only tasty, but also elegant.

According to the same recipe, you can cook not only pork legs, but also pork ears. This is a budget option for a treat, which, of course, is not suitable for a festive table, but for a homely family cozy dinner it is quite. Since the dish is quite satisfying and nutritious, it will fill you well. It is especially good to serve it with boiled potatoes and fresh vegetable salad.

4. Wrap the hoof with cling foil, place in a baking dish and place in a heated oven to 180 degrees for 1.5-2 hours. If you want the meat to brown, then 15 minutes before cooking, unfold it from the foil so that it is baked. Serve the cooked baked pork hoof with prunes and soy sauce immediately after cooking hot with any side dish.
