Oven chops with zucchini, tomato and cheese are easy. This is a daily cooking dish, although it will deserve a place at a festive feast. On a festive table, it will look quite impressive if you decorate it with herbs or put it on a plate covered with lettuce leaves.

For cooking, it is advisable to use pork tenderloin or neck. With a tenderloin, the meat will be leaner, and with a collar, it will be fatter. But all the same, the dish will turn out to be very tasty and satisfying. Serve hot or warm immediately after cooking.

The proposed recipe can be classified as a classic one. But it has a zest - zucchini. I used them frozen, but fresh ones, pre-fried in a pan, are also suitable. Although each housewife can add this recipe with her favorite ingredients as she wishes. For example, add pineapple slices, potato slices, fried eggplant slices, fried mushrooms, and sweet bell peppers.

  • Pork tenderloin - 1 kg
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp
  • Zucchini - 1 pc.
  • Mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 3-4 cloves
  • Tomatoes - 2-3 pcs.
  • Ground black pepper - a pinch
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Cheese - 150 g

1. Wash the meat and dry well with a paper towel. Cut it into slices about 1-1.5 cm thick. Use a scalloped hammer to beat it on both sides so that it becomes 0.5-0.7 mm thick. Accordingly, it will increase in diameter. If you end up with chunks that are too large, divide them in half.

2. Place the cuts of meat on a baking sheet, season with salt and black pepper and apply a thin layer of mustard.

3. Peel the garlic, chop finely and sprinkle on the chops.

4. Peel the onions, wash, cut into thin half rings and put on the meat.

5. Top with tomato rings and zucchini bars. This recipe uses frozen vegetables. You do not need to defrost them, they will melt and bake during cooking. If you are using fresh fruits, then cut the tomatoes into 5 mm thick rings, and the zucchini into bars, cubes or rings and fry them on all sides in a pan in vegetable oil.

6. Cut the cheese into pieces or grate on a coarse grater and place on top of the vegetables. By this time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send the baking sheet for half an hour. You only need to put the meat in a well-heated oven so that it immediately becomes covered with a golden brown crust, which notices the fibers and retains its juiciness.

Serve ready-made chops in the oven with zucchini, tomato and cheese with any side dish: porridge, spaghetti, rice, fried potatoes or mashed potatoes.
