Recipe for making a salad in winter called "Winter Vitamins". What could be better and healthier than a very easy-to-prepare salad from native vegetables.

Recently, for some reason, everyone began to chase the exotic. Coming up with a variety of salads with overseas vegetables and fruits, motivating all this with a high content of vitamins and microelements. And somehow everyone forgot that in our native vegetables these same substances are no less, and they are somehow more useful for our body. And most importantly, they are much more affordable for us. After all, not everyone can afford to buy pineapples, avocados, olives and more. But everyone has beets, carrots, and pickled (pickled) cucumbers can be found in any kitchen or store. Therefore, I propose a recipe for a simple salad, which is healthy, cooks quickly (especially if the products are prepared in advance) and inexpensive.

Ingredients:

  • Beets (medium size) - 1 pc.
  • Carrots - 2-3 pcs.
  • Pickled cucumbers (pickled) - 2-3 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise - 2-3 tablespoons (it is better to take your own mayonnaise)

Preparing salad in winter:

  1. You need to cook beets and carrots. They can be boiled, baked, or microwaved. Here it is for your taste and desire. Naturally, I do not advise you to cook in microwaves, as there will be less useful vitamins. Better to boil vegetables.
  2. Cut the finished beets and carrots into cubes. Do the same with cucumbers. Mix all vegetables and add mayonnaise to taste.

Such a salad can be eaten as a separate dish with bread and along with your favorite side dish. Also, for greater benefit, you can refuse harmful mayonnaise, and instead season the salad with vegetable oil, a little vinegar, salt and other spices to taste - for example, freshly ground black pepper.
