1. Pour the sour cream into a clean and dry frying pan or stewpan. It is advisable to use dishes with a thick bottom so that the sour cream does not burn.

3. Place the skillet on the stove and boil. Stir to dissolve the sugar completely.

4. Make a slow fire and boil down the mass. First, the sour cream will heat up and take on a flowing soft texture.

5. Continue to boil the sour cream, stirring occasionally, so that it does not stick to the bottom and sides of the container. The mass will change color, acquire a pleasant caramel shade.

6. Continue to boil sour cream, it will begin to thicken and become darker. Add vanillin and stir to dissolve. Determine the cooking time yourself, because the density of the candies will depend on the duration of the mass on the fire. Please note that when cooled, the mass will harden even more.

7. Choose a convenient form, preferably a silicone one, and pour the boiled mixture into it. You can also pour the mixture onto a glass, ceramic or metal surface, and when it hardens, cut the candy into portions.
