1. Remove the puff pastry from the freezer and leave to defrost at room temperature. Do not use a microwave oven, as you can not keep track and the dough will start to cook. When the dough becomes soft, place it on the countertop sprinkled with flour and roll it out into a thin layer of 3 mm with a rolling pin.
